Nar-Cide is a polymeric, catatonic biocide that has been developed developed and produced by Gur Technologies for controlling the growth of algae, bacteria, and fungi.

Nar-Cide prevent algae and slime bacteria fouling in open and closed recirculating cooling water systems and evaporative coolers.

Nar-Cide is one of our patented water conditioners , it is a polymeric quaternary ammonium micro biocide that is especially effective in controlling algae, iron bacteria, and other slime forming microorganisms that contribute to biological fouling of cooling towers, heat exchangers, and other parts of recirculation water systems.

Nar-Cide is a highly concentrated biocide and should be used at the rate of 12 to 120 parts per million. The frequency of the treatment depends on the amount of bleed off and the severity of the microbiological fouling problem. For reasons of determining purchase quantity, treatment every four days should be a good average.

Nar-Cide is compatible with all types of commercially available water treatment products including polymers and chromates. Nar-Cide is excellent when utilized as a single treatment biocide or may be used in conjunction with other types of biocide to reduce the possibility of development of resistant strains of microorganisms.

Benefits

  • Highly concentrated biocide
  • Contains no chromates or heavy metals
  • Easy-to-use liquid
  • Does not form any orthophosphate sludge

Should be placed in a feeder on the make-up water line.
